Caitlin Sullivan M.S. CCC-SLP/L
Caitlin is a licensed speech-language pathologist in the state of Illinois and founder/owner of Lines of Communication Speech and Language Therapy, PLLC. Before starting a private practice, she worked several years in the public school setting where she provided services for primary, elementary, junior high, high school, and post-high school age students. Her career experience has given a unique perspective in viewing development from the toddler years to young adulthood. She has a passion for supporting individuals with their communication skills in order to thrive in their everyday environments, whether that be with family at home, friends, at school, in the community, or in a job setting. Caitlin views the whole-person when evaluating and treating her clients. She believes in creating an engaging, safe, nurturing therapeutic environment to support the social-emotional and communication needs of the individuals she serves. She is also a 250 hour certified yoga teacher and certified children’s yoga teacher through Asanas for Autism and Special Needs. She enjoys including aspects of yoga into her sessions when targeting various speech-language goals. She values continuing education in the field of speech-language pathology and received the American Speech-Language Hearing Association ACE (Award for Continuing Education). In her free time, she enjoys being in nature, cooking, and reading inspiring books. You’ll likely find her with an oat milk latte in hand!
